We work on systems for a wide range of industrial application fields. Example areas of application include:

• Industrial measurement and quality inspection technology: 3D measurement and surface inspection of industrial components made from various materials
• Remote sensing: Analysis of aerial, satellite, and space probe images, in particular the construction of topographic (three-dimensional) maps of planetary surfaces and the evaluation of multi- and hyperspectral image data

• Medical image processing: Automated analysis of large and complex datasets acquired using imaging techniques

Methods from machine learning and artificial intelligence are regularly used, enabling partial or full automation of the respective analysis tasks. 

We are happy to advise and support you within the framework of research and development collaborations in the planning and execution of image processing projects.
