Modern applications demand ever-increasing volumes of data that must be managed, processed, and retrieved efficiently and without errors. These growing expectations can only be met through the consistent use of state-of-the-art hardware technology.

We support you with our extensive experience in the development, optimization, and testing of high-performance data management systems. Our core areas of expertise include system optimization for deep memory hierarchies (“in-memory databases”), the exploitation of parallelism and heterogeneity (e.g., multi-core processors, graphics processing units, FPGAs), as well as the profiling of such systems. Over the past years, our know-how has contributed, among other things, to the high-performance systems of renowned vendors.

Wherever possible, we combine our work with cutting-edge research. As a result, our project partners benefit from the latest research findings while simultaneously gaining international visibility within the research community.
