Experts from this topical area are your potential partners for cooperative research and development in wireless communications and communication-oriented signal processing. Our focus is on local networks based on WLAN, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and other standards used for smart homes, ambient assisted living, factory automation, smart grids, and vehicle design. This includes work on localization, navigation, and movement detection, using, e.g., WLAN nodes as sensors.

 A variety of industrial customers - large corporations as well as smaller companies - have successfully carried out projects with us during the last two decades, including projects on channel modeling, the simulation of concepts of communication, performance evaluation of standards, and the actual implemention on hardware platforms.
